Terms and Conditions
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR STARBLAZE LIMITED By reading our terms and conditions and purchasing goods from us, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, but do not affect your statutory rights.
Orders Please note that we only supply to customers in the UK and Ireland.
How do I order? Shopping is easy and secure at Starblaze. Just browse around the store and add the items you want to your shopping basket. When you are ready, click on one of the 'Proceed to Checkout' buttons and enter your details into the form. Finally, choose how you would like to pay - Starblaze lets you pay using almost any credit or debit card securely online. We will send you an email to confirm your order details, and another one when your order is packed and sent out to you. You will need "cookies" enabled on your web browser to shop at Starblaze. Most web browsers, including Internet Explorer have this feature on by default, so you should have no problems.
Making a payment When you order online you will be directed to PayPal or Google where your payment transaction will be processed. Starblaze does not intervene – the system is automatic and your account will be charged immediately.
Cookies Cookies are used to enable you to take your shopping basket with you from page to page. If you do not have “cookies” enabled, you may find that you can only add one item to your basket which subsequently disappears when you go to another section. If this happens, you will need to enable “cookies”.
Pricing We make every effort to ensure that the prices displayed on our website are accurate. However, we reserve the right to validate all prices before we process your order. All prices are displayed in UK pounds and are inclusive of VAT at 17.5%.
Delivery Our aim is to despatch all orders within 2-3 working days. If there is likely to be a delay in despatching your goods, possibly because we are waiting for stock, we will let you know the expected despatch date. Once your order is ready for despatch we will advise you.
We use Royal Mail for all our deliveries. Please make sure that there is someone to receive your parcel during the daytime. If you request a Parcel to be left at your property because you are out, this is at your own risk.
UK - Postage and packing is free on orders totalling £50.00 or more. A postage and packing charge of £2.00 will be added to orders below £50.00. Please note that if you return non-faulty goods and your order value is reduced to less than £50.00, refunds will be given less the postage cost.
Northern Ireland, Channel Islands. Parcels will be sent by Royal Mail First Class post. Postage and packing is free on orders totalling £110 or more. A postage and packing charge of £6.00 will be added to orders below £110.00. Please note that if you return non-faulty goods and your order value is reduced to less than £110.00, refunds will be given less the postage cost.
Our products We source our products from different suppliers with the intention of bringing together what we believe to be the best products for the craft industry. We make every effort to ensure that all goods on our website are described accurately. However, we will not accept liability for any errors in the description of goods on the website. We will attempt to correct any problems as soon as we are aware of them. Illustrations and descriptions of products are provided as a guide only. Actual products may vary. All product measurements are approximate. Product colours may vary.
Refunds, returns & cancellation policy If your goods are found to be damaged on arrival or they are faulty please contact us within 7 days by phone on 01959 533567 or by e-mail j.hewitt.2020.comms@lineone.net
We will arrange to replace or refund the damaged goods. Starblaze will also pay the normal First Class/standard parcels cost of returning your goods. Damaged or faulty goods can only be returned after contacting us – we need to log the details – this ensures that goods are not damaged on their return to us. We will not refund postage without prior notification. If we have made a mistake with your order and something is missing then you must advise us within 7 days of receipt of your order.
Change of mind – not a problem Please return them to us within 14 days of receipt, enclosing a copy of your invoice. The goods must be returned to us in their original packaging, unopened and able to be used for resale. You will need to pay the cost of postage and be responsible for the goods arriving in pristine condition. Don’t forget to get a proof of postage from the Post Office in case the goods never arrive – you will need to make a claim.
Agreed refunds will be made through PayPal to the account through which the purchase was made. This will be done within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods.
Suitability of products The products we sell are for craft hobbies. They are not sold as toys and are unsuitable for children under 36 months.
Payment processing is performed using WorldPay or PayPal Security is probably one of the most significant concerns when ordering over the internet. For this reason we use Google and PayPal for payment. Shopping through Google and PayPal is completely secure, probably more so than using a credit/debit card in a shop as the information submitted is encrypted using highly complicated logarithm combinations. Even we don't see credit/debit card numbers and they are not stored on our system
Privacy policy Starblaze makes a commitment to protecting your privacy and promises only to use information collected about you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We collect your name, address, phone number and e-mail address when you place an order. We need this information so we can complete your order and contact you if there is a query.
We do not store your credit card details.
We would like to send email newsletters to you using our mailing list which may include details of new products, new card projects or that contain offer codes. You may unsubscribe to it if you wish by click on the link at the bottom of the newsletter email.
